The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Dev Tools QA Engineer to join our growing Virtual Reality development team. You’ll help to ensure that the Unity SDK we produce is robust and user friendly.

Your day-to-day role will vary a lot so you need to be able to pick up things quickly, work well within a team, and manage your workload. As well as this, you may take part in the following tasks:

  • Attending stand ups and planning sessions representing the QA team
  • Creating and executing test documentation
  • Manually testing features and logging issues
  • Working closely with developers, producers, artists and support to ensure requirements are understood, and key issues are flagged in a timely manner
  • Ensuring high levels of quality throughout our products to maintain a high quality user experience of our software

Core requirements

  • Good communication skills across a range of technical knowledge levels.
  • Good understanding of game engines like, Unity and the Unity Editor
  • Good knowledge of C#
  • Experience logging issues and defects
  • Experience in a professional services environment working in a quality assurance capacity on VR, Mobile Tech and Web Tech applications.
  • Experience working on Jira, Zephyr, Git, GitHub, TeamCity and other related tools.

Desired skills

  • Basic knowledge with automated test scripts and tools such as Unity Test Runner, Unity Engine, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, NUnit, Load and Performance Testing
